Google has launched an update to Chrome; whilst internet explorer users are still waiting Google has released an even faster version of its internet browser.
Recently released on the Google Chrome Blog last week, the team announced a newer stable version of Chrome 17 for the users of the browser. Chrome 17 is designed to bring pre-rendering capabilities to the browser, giving the browser the ability to start loading the page as the user types into the omnibox. The newly released browser using historical user history only based on a single machine rather collated information from users from multiple locations.
The new update also brings higher levels of security to the user when browsing, Google start by comparing the URL to the database of sites with malicious software or files. Google has paid over £7000 to independent developers to hunt down bugs in the latest software update.
Google plan to release the new Chrome 18 shortly in Beta for testing, more information to follow.
