Google have finally made Chrome the default browser for android devices, however this new change will only work on the up to date versions of ice cream sandwich, this means only 1% of users will be using straight away.
Google’s Senior VP for Chrome said “Like the desktop version, Chrome for Android Beta is focused on speed and simplicity, but it also features seamless sign-in and sync so you can take your personalized web browsing experience with you wherever you go, across devices."
As Google has built Chrome with mobile computing in mind this will work well on all android devices include larger screen tablets.
Google chrome is designed for speed which means users will be able to login and sync devices with desktops easier.
The tech giant hopes this will bring more android users over to using Google chrome on desktops and laptops and hopefully gain a larger share of the browser market.
