Google heavily blocking keywords for analysis

For at least two years now Google has been blocking results off analytical data, as the keyword tool and Google analytics is the main form of analysis for every SEO and PPC campaign any company undertakes this is causing huge stress in the world of SEO.

Matt Cutts stated that only up to 10% would be block, usually branded information but this now seems to going much further. Some reports even show up to 50% of results being blocked in some markets.
Rand fish from the SEOmoz blog reported that data blocking has been on the rise from 10% last November (2011) up to 50% on some sites.
Other SEO experts have also reported similar data blockages in the 20%-50% range.
There have been many complaints to Google but so far there has been little to no response, seemingly there may be something to hide!
The keywords not being shown mainly come from referral data, this is heavily hampering companies’ internal campaigns and optimisation. Any hidden data stops all campaigns performing to their potential.
It’s important for any company undertaking an SEO campaign to be able to make the correct choices of keywords and phrases, with Google blocking this data many campaigns will be suffering. Feedback is important for on-going optimisation.
Identifying on-going strategies is paramount to any SEO companies’ performance but potentially this could mean thousands being wasted on SEO campaigns that may not perform due to lack of data.
